Artists Studios is a wonderful book photographed by Jussi Tiainen illustrating one piece of art work from numerous artists along with a photograph of the studio from which the art came. Tiainen became fascinated by how the artists’ studio resembles that of the artist. As Tiainen states “The studio is like a womb which gives birth to new life and keeps it inside until it is time to come out and cut the cord. The work becomes a work of art and begins a new life of its own when it comes face to face with the viewer on the bare gallery wall.”
