Aarnio was born in 1932 in Helsinki. Aarnio’s classic plastic furniture such as the Ball, the Bubble, the Pastil, and the tomato chair were revolutionary when he designed them. His creations in interiors shines as his unique style is evident in everything from the lighting to the floor decor. Aarnio is a true modernist in the most classical sense of the 20th century.
