ANDERSEN, TAGE: JOY AND FRENZY - A BOOK ABOUT CAMELLIAS.
Author: Andersen, Tage, Art Director & Photography by Bent Rej
Year: 2005
Country or State of Origin: Denmark
This book describes one of nature’s great wonders: the delicate camellia, which bursts into a profusion of flowers in the middle of the cold and darkness of winter. To experience this revelation, which proudly defies the seasons, has become a joyful passion for many people. This book gives an account in words and pictures of the collection of camellias that two passionate camellia collectors, the floral artist Tage Andersen and the doctor Hans Trautner have built up. With its more than 200 different varieties it is the largest in Scandinavia. This book is published in connection with the opening of the exhibition at Norrvikens Trädgårdar in Sweden.

Høyer, Steen: LANDSKABSKUNST.
Author: Levinsen, Marianne, Rikke Munck Petersen, Steen Bisgaard, eds et al
Year: 2006
Country or State of Origin: Denmark
Høyer has produced a remarkable body of work, brought together here in its full scope for the first time. The built work, such as the mound of lights at Esbjerg, is well known. His built landscapes, proposals, installations, drawings, photographs, montages, and models - all are threads in the same fabric of investigation. Drawing from methods of art and design, he explores questions about the nature of space and mind and the processes, human and non-human, that shape both. There is an emerging international discussion on the practice of art and design as a form of research. This volume is a superb contribution to that global dialogue.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE IN SCANDINAVIA/LANDSCHAFTSARCHITEKTUR IN SKANDINAVIEN. Projects from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland/Porjekte aus Dänemark, Schweden, Norwegen, Finnland und Island
Author:
Year: 2002
Country or State of Origin: Germany
The landscape architecture of the Nordic countries is just as appealing for its aesthetics and high quality as modern Scandinavian architecture. Danish and Swedish landscape architects already numbered among the European avantgarde in the fist half of the last century. While Spain, France and The Netherlands were moving into the focus of interest in recent decades, a new generation of Scandinavian designers created remarkable landscape architecture - with different emphasis in the individual countries.
